Upbeat, positive songs inspired by
the ideas behind The Secret

On vacation at a low key spa in Mexico, Dan and Erin had a vision to start a musical group that would tour the world's holistic health spas, spiritual retreats and other healthy venues.  In the dream, those destinations would provide a like-minded audience for Dan and Erin's original music.

The choice of venues also solved the thorny issue of comfortable accommodations while on the road.  Shortly thereafer, the name Spa Mamas cropped up.  It felt right and, for a time, it stuck.

How Spa Mamas became Soulpajamas

We asked for your help and we got it.  It came to our attention that people had a variety of associations with the term Spa Mamas, not all positive.  We asked for ideas and offered some prizes for the best suggestions.  And we made it collaborative.  Everyone could read everyone else's ideas and respond to them.

We liked so many of the names, it was a tough choice.  But we finally settled on a variation of Chris Sonnenberg's Spa Pajamas.  For his efforts, Chris gets a halogen desk lamp and a yet-to-be-designed Soulpajamas T-shirt.  Second and third place winners have been notified as well.
